To the Zoo

Hi.  My name is Jakey "T". 

When I moved back to Utah, I took my cousins to the zoo.

Alauna was so cute!  

She loved the new polar bear exhibit!

So, I got her a front row seat to see the Grizzlies.

What???

Zanden liked the alligators.

Say cheese!

Aunt Melonie seemed to like this picture of them all in a cage.

I'm not sure why...

I really liked the part when they showed us the owl with one eye.

I had the kids get into this nest while I pretended to be the owl.

My cousins thought I was awesome...  no, really, they did! 

The Easter Bunny Has Arrived!

 Here we are at great grandma Anderson's house. 

(They are telling us that a giant, pink rabbit hid eggs all over the field apparently undetected...

But, I'm six!  I know there's know such thing as an "Easter bunny"! )

They were able to fool my sister... 

Hehehe, she even combed the grass looking for rabbit tracks!

But I'm no fool!  I know that aunt Rissy hid those eggs.

They think they're being cute with us; giant bunnies... HA!

The reaping wasn't bad though... we got lot's of candy and $2 in quarters!

See?  I'm sure the "Easter bunny" wouldn't leave quarters!  

Aunt Rissy, on the other hand, LOVES to give us money.

Alauna's still young; I'll keep it a secret for her benefit...

I wouldn't want to spoil her fun... I mean, look at that face!

"Hey Buggy, the Easter bunny told me that you didn't eat your carrots.  

Did you really put them on your sister's plate during the prayer?"

What?!  How did she know that?  I made sure everyone had their eyes closed!

She can't be serious!  ...Can she?

Wow.  What a day. 

So there is an Easter bunny, 

that's a lot to dump on a kid!

Zanden Turns 6! AHHHHH!

So, it's April... I haven't been so good at this blogging thing.  I blame it on the fact that I am still in mourning for the loss of my camera.  :(  It also didn't help that we unexpectedly got our home so;d out from under us and moved to the other side of the complex.  (If you thought short distance moves were easy, think again!)

Anyway, we had Zanden's birthday and have I a video for you!!! 

Wasn't that hilarious?  I'm such a dork!  Well, my baby boy is 6 now...  

He even lost his first tooth!  (sigh)  C'est la vie!
